Myself and Simon Hayward had done a number of recordings together back in the 2000's but then I buggered off to Portugal. A visit from Simon back in 2012 resulted in a couple of tracks but it has been over ten years since we have worked together, so we decided to collaborate via the internet. It ended up being an albums worth of material, twelve tracks written (apart from three) , performed and recorded between August and September 2023. It was fun and we surprised ourselves with what we achieved, not only because of the logistics and limitations of resources, but that it flowed really natural, a real understanding going on. Good vibes.
